• Record Breaking Results Smash National Expectations
  

  Wade Deacon High School is celebrating another record breaking year as an amazing 95% of pupils achieved five or more of the top level grades in their GCSE examinations.  Almost a third of all results were A* and A grades, with 7 out of 10 pupils achieving at least 1 A* or A grade – which is over 3 times the national average! 42 of the Gifted and Talented pupils each achieved at least 7 A* or A grades, with 20 of this group scooping 10 or more. The results for 5 or more A* - C including English and Mathematics reached an all time high of 79%, a 12 point rise on last years figure. A stunning 99% of pupils leave the school this year with at least one top level GCSE grade, which marks an outstanding achievement for a comprehensive school. These are the best ever results achieved at the Birchfield Road school.

• Head Boy runs away with 'wicket' results
  

  Wade Deacon High School’s head boy, Ben Williams helped set the standard for his friends as the school achieves its best ever GCSE results. Ben scooped an absolutely outstanding eight A* grades and 6 A grades while the school celebrates a whopping ninety-five percent of pupils achieving five or more of the top grades A* to C. Proud Headteacher Mrs Wright said “I am absolutely delighted with these results which are a testament to the hard work and determination of pupils and staff, and our head boy richly deserves his fantastic results after years of conscientious study and leadership within his year group.”

Welcome to Wade Deacon High School

 GCSE Results - Thursday 21st August 2008

Year 11 pupils will be able to collect their GCSE Results in the Lower Wing Hall from 10.00am on Thursday 21st August 2008.

Year 9 and 10 pupils will be able to collect their GCSE Results in the Lower Wing Hall from 11.00am on Thursday 21st August 2008.

 Please note that we are unable to give results out over the phone - they must be collected in person by the pupil.
