Following the completion of my Degree and Masters of Mathematics at the University of Liverpool, I embarked on a graduate accountancy programme with PriceWaterHouseCoopers. Very quickly I realised that my passion lay within education. I completed my teaching qualification in 2003 and joined Wade Deacon High School in 2004 as teacher of Mathematics. I spent 10 years at Wade Deacon, 3 years as Deputy Headteacher, before taking up the post of sole Deputy Headteacher at Formby High School in 2014.
To have been provided with the opportunity to return to Wade Deacon High School as Principal is an honour. My vision is very simple…I want our school to the best in the country! A school where every pupil enjoys an exceptional educational experience and I look forward to continuing to work closely with students, staff and parents to ensure this becomes a reality.
