Parent Governor

Married with two children who both attend Wade Deacon High School, I believe passionately that every child deserves access to an excellent educational environment and experience in order to achieve their personal goals and potential. During their time at Wade Deacon, my children have thrived and grown visibly in confidence and ability as a result of the outstanding education and opportunities they have accessed. Accordingly, as a parent governor I will strive to ensure all pupils at the school have the opportunity to excel and become the best version of themselves.

Having served as an Army Officer for over 26 years, most recently as Commanding Officer of 156 Regiment RLC, I have a wealth of leadership experience focussed on building and maintaining high performing teams to achieve organisational excellence. I have carried this approach and philosophy into my civilian career where I am an IT and digital services project manager. Outside of work, I enjoy family time and help coach the Widnes U16s Rugby Union team.
