Our Open Evening has, yet again, broken attendance records with 1350 visitors made most welcome in what is our busiest and most high-profile night of the year.
Pupils currently in Year 6 and their families enjoyed a feast of activities across all faculties with the highlights being the gut-wrenching Bush tucker Trial in Food Technology, Amputations in History, all things Victoriana in English – and, of course, so much more.
Our Open Evening comes on the back of some of our best ever GCSE examination results which now places us in the top 20% of all schools nationally.
Harry Lea, a pupil at Farnworth CofE Primary School enjoyed the night thoroughly telling The Weekly News: ‘I couldn’t believe how much there was going on with so many activities to try out – especially the school meal taster session in the restaurant which me and my dad really got stuck in to. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We all had a great time!’
