Alumni

Welcome to the Wade Deacon Alumni page!

Honoring Our Legacy, Inspiring the Future at Wade Deacon High School

With roots dating back to 1507, Wade Deacon High School carries a legacy that spans centuries, beginning with our original grammar school, established by Bishop William Smyth. Our iconic art deco main building, opened in 1931 as Wade Deacon Grammar School, stands as a tribute to Sir Henry Wade Deacon, a visionary local industrialist and longstanding advocate for education.

Today, we celebrate not only our storied past but also the achievements of our alumni who carry the spirit of Wade Deacon into the wider world. Whether through continued education, groundbreaking careers, or personal passions, our former students are making their mark—and we take immense pride in their journeys.

Our alumni network unites past and present students, creating a bridge of inspiration, support, and mentorship. Former students who have embarked on exciting paths are invited to share their experiences, offering guidance and encouragement to current Wade Deacon students.

Click the names below to explore stories from our alumni and discover the powerful impact Wade Deacon has had on their lives and careers.

Would you like to share your own journey or join our Alumni? Reach out to Miss Griffiths at careers@wadedeacon.co.uk—your story could be the spark that ignites a future success!
