Following the completion of my degree in Sports Studies and Education at Liverpool Hope University and with aspirations of becoming a PE teacher, I joined Wade Deacon in 2008 as a PE technician. I completed my teaching qualification in 2011 whilst still working at Wade Deacon, specialising in PE. More recently, I have also been a teacher of Mathematics. I am very proud of my journey at Wade Deacon over the past 15 years, which has included roles as Progress Leader, Assistant Vice Principal and Vice Principal. I am extremely passionate about supporting young people to achieve the absolute best that they can achieve, in particular the young people of this community of which I have served for the past 15 years, and I feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to do this as Head of School.
