Mr Kurt Tutty

I take great pride in working at Wade Deacon and value our community greatly. As a local resident, I myself used to attend Wade Deacon between the year 2000-2005 and I feel privileged to now be able to say that I am a member of the Art team here. I graduated from Edge Hill University in 2011 with a degree in Animation and shortly after applied for the secondary PGCE Art and Design course.

I have been teaching Art at secondary level since 2012 and moved to Wade Deacon in 2019.

I am passionate about the Arts and work on many illustrative personal projects of my own outside of the classroom. I aim to instil my love of the subject to our students and to help with this I have set up two successful clubs; Comic Club and Animation & Illustration.

I believe the wellbeing of both students and staff alike is crucial, and that a happy school is a successful school.
