World Views & Religious Studies
Curriculum Aims
Our students study Religious Education through our World Views curriculum.
They will understand how to ask questions about the ultimate meaning and purpose of life, beliefs about God, issues of right and wrong, and what it means to be human. They will develop knowledge and understanding of Christianity, of other principal religions, other religious traditions and worldviews that offer answers to questions such as these. RE will contribute to students’ personal development and well-being and to community cohesion by promoting mutual respect and tolerance in a diverse society.
World Views is delivered through an expanded English curriculum in Key Stage 3, allowing students to explore core elements and key themes in an engaging and interconnected manner.
