My Home Call

We are pleased to let you know that from Monday 12th October, we will be introducing My Home Call, a secure communication system that allows students to contact a parent or carer from school without needing a mobile phone.

The system is designed to support our phone-free approach while still providing students with a safe and convenient way to send important messages home. Examples include:

  • Forgotten PE kit
  • Lunch money top-ups
  • Changes to collection arrangements

Students can access one of three My Home Call kiosks located:

  • By Reception
  • On the first floor near the central staircase
  • In the Restaurant

When a student uses the kiosk, a pre-set message is sent directly to their registered parent or carer contact. The system is secure, GDPR compliant, and only allows communication with approved contacts.

Please note that the kiosks are not available during lesson times and will be locked during these periods to ensure there is no disruption to learning.

To use the service, parents/carers must create their child's My Home Call account directly using the registration process outlined in the leaflet below. Accounts cannot be set up by the school on behalf of families. If an account has not been created, your child will not be able to access or use the My Home Call system.

Registration takes only a few minutes and will ensure your child can use the service if needed.

We believe this system provides an effective way for students to stay connected with home while supporting our expectations regarding mobile phone use in school.

Important Information:
My Home Call is a third-party communication service provided independently of the school. Messages sent through the system are delivered directly to the registered parent/carer and are not monitored, viewed, recorded or responded to by school staff. As messages are transmitted via a third-party provider, the school accepts no liability for the content, delivery, receipt, or any actions taken as a result of messages sent through the service. Parents and students must use the system responsibly and in accordance with its intended purpose. Any inappropriate, misuse, or abuse of the service may result in access to My Home Call being withdrawn without notice.
