Personal Development

Our recent Personal Development morning gave students in all years the opportunity to focus on key aspects of our personal development curriculum.

Year 7 students learned about how to live with social media and deal with bullying.

Year 8 learned about the risks and consequences of knife crime.

Year 9 students had the opportunity to learn about consent and positive relationships and discussed important issues around contraception and sexual imagery.

In Year 10, students explored issues relating to mental health.

In Year 11, students focused on learning employability skills and the world of work.

Students experience six Personal Development mornings throughout the year in addition to weekly PD sessions and assemblies, supported by a cross-curricular approach through subjects specialisms.
