Mr Andrew Rice

Co-Opted Governor

I grew up in Liverpool and have lived in Widnes for the past 18 years with my family. I am the proud parent of two children, one of whom attends Wade Deacon High School.

Professionally, I have worked in facilities management for over 20 years, with experience spanning both higher education and elite sport. I currently work as a Training Centre Facility Manager in a high-performance sporting environment, where I am responsible for maintaining safe, effective facilities and supporting the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.

I became a Parent Governor because I wanted to play an active role in supporting the school's continued success and contribute to the educational experience of all students. As both a parent and a governor, I am committed to helping ensure that every young person has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, inclusive, and ambitious environment.

I am proud to be part of the governing body and to support the school's vision, values, and ongoing development.
