Celebrating Excellence: Class of 2025 Awards Evening

On Thursday 4th December, we were proud to host our annual Awards Evening for the phenomenal Class of 2025 — and with record attendance, we couldn’t have been happier to welcome so many returning faces back to Wade Deacon.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was electric as old friends reunited and families gathered for a moment they had long anticipated. In the hall, nostalgic photos of students from their very first days in Year 7 set a touching backdrop, reminding us all of just how far they have come.

The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, inspiring reflections, and a genuine sense of pride. Staff spoke eloquently about the impact this cohort has had on our school community, while students reflected with warmth on their journey — the opportunities they embraced, the friendships they forged, the challenges they overcame, and the memories that will stay with them long after they leave.

Miss Barker has led this remarkable year group with dedication and passion. The Class of 2025 is defined by resilience, kindness, and unwavering support for one another — qualities that truly represent what it means to be an exceptional Wade Deacon student.

Most of all, the night was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when students, parents, carers, and staff work together as one community. The success of the Class of 2025 is a testament to that partnership — a shared commitment, year after year, to helping our young people become the very best versions of themselves.
